Harduini Fortin de La Hoguette, Dei et Sanctae sedis apostolicae gratia Senonensis Archiepiscopi, [...] editum. Senonis, apud Claudium Augustum Prussurot & Andream Jannot, 1715. In-folio, [11] f., 44-616-CLXVIII p., [2] f., 8 p., contemporary red basane, 5-nerved spine, ornate boards, gilt title, boards edged with a roulette, large fleuron in center, all gilt (flaws including tears and rubbing, margins repaired at beginning of volume, frontispiece and 1 plate lacking). Edition commissioned by Fortin de la Hoguette, Archbishop of Sens, whose coat of arms appears on the title. His engraved bookplate has been added, bearing the stamp of Louis-Maximilien Duru (1804-1869), priest of the diocese of Sens, historian and poet. The illustration, entirely engraved on copper, consists of large vignettes at the head of each section, and 4 plates depicting the Nativity, Crucifixion, Resurrection and Assumption of the Virgin. The frontispiece and one plate are missing.
