[Map of Burgundy]. HONDIUS (Josse), ed. Le duche de Bourgoig - Lot 325
[Map of Burgundy]. HONDIUS (Josse), ed. Le duche de Bourgoigne et comte de Charolois. Printed in Amsterdam by Josse Hondius, [between 1600 and 1650]. One copper-engraved map, colored, approx. 37.5 x 50 cm. Nice map with a somewhat confusing orientation, since north is on the right: it is bounded on the left by Clermont and Mâcon, on the right by Bar-sur-Seine, on the top by Cosne-sur-Loire and, on the bottom, it covers a little territory after the course of the Saône. Latin text on v° signed eeee. Slight central fold mark; remainder of miter at v°. A fine copy in antique colors, probably with some modern highlights.
