A rare collection of 14 plates drawn by J.C. de Sève, engraved on copper by Pierron, and colored; each plate consists of 4 captioned vignettes depicting animals (for a total of 52 figures), except for the last plate, which features 4 maps of continents. Large 8vo, contemporary tan sheepskin, smooth, unmarked spine (defects, damage including one plate roughly reattached, soiling).
