Charity Sale, Ukraine Medical Aid Committee

The Ukraine Medical Aid Committee is organizing a charity auction on Thursday, July 2, in Room 9. Sponsored by Plantu and featuring war correspondent Cyril Amoursky and sommelier Albert Malongo Ngimbi, the auction will include about 100 lots ranging from art and luxury items to wines and sports memorabilia. All proceeds will be donated to CAM Ukraine.

Thursday, July 2, 2026 – 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

NOTE:

The buyer is not eligible for a tax benefit and will therefore not receive a tax receipt, as they received consideration (the purchased item) in exchange for their payment.

With regard to the cause for which the sale is organized, two scenarios must be distinguished:

1. The association organizes the sale itself: the proceeds from the auction will be considered non-taxable extraordinary income;

2. The proceeds from the auction will be considered a donation to the association.
